james and remus both being trans boys and helping each other with their dysphoria. james gets his dad to buy remus binders and shares his clothes with remus because he knows remus’s parents aren’t very rich and can’t afford things to help remus transition. he even lends money to remus so he can afford his t shots. remus figuring out spells to relieve dysphoria and to help them pass better as male and sharing them with james.
I was always disappointed with Fenrir Greyback. He’s built up as this absolutely terrifying monster stalking the shadows, a budding cult leader who uses his victims against their own society. But as soon as he’s actually introduced, he’s swiftly demoted to basic Death Eater wannabe grunt. Also, I’ve always wondered why he even wanted to work with Voldemort in the first place; Greyback’s end goal is a world with more werewolves than not, and Voldemort’s is a world where every non-pureblood is dead or enslaved. What on earth did Greyback think he was going to get out of that deal? Either he was bewitched, or he was incredibly stupid.
trans ron weasley realizing he’s a boy at a young age and asks molly if instead of having all these frilly clothes if he can have his brother’s hand me downs.
and now molly has all these girl clothes hand knitted and doesn’t know what to do with them.
seeing ron come out encouraged ginny to do the same and now she gets to have all the clothes that ron couldn’t wear.
just trans ron and ginny.
*JK Rowling and BBC execs sit opposite me at table* here’s what I want: a TV show where a Muggle detective and an Auror are working on the same complicated murder case without knowing, the Muggle detective and their agency can’t understand the clues about the magical world, they meet the Auror but the Auror only gives subtle hints, the climax/season(series) 1 finale is the Muggle discovering the magical world and solving the case with the Auror. The next seasons/series are them working together on cases. Adult Auror Harry Potter could be a character but I would like someone else as the Wizard lead. also plenty of nods to the series. Maybe the villain is an ex-Death Eater.
it’s weird how’s there’s only one instance of james potter ever being needlessly cruel to snape but people think that means he spent his entire hogwarts career being a dick to snape. like i’m sure there were more times when he bullied snape but people act like he did it every single day and that snape was a poor little victim who couldn’t defend himself. like you must not think much of snape if you think he can’t even defend himself from an arrogant jackass. and besides dumbledore and remus both even said what snape and james had was a rivalry. which means snape bullied james about as much as james bullied snape but that gets completely ignored because snape stans only want to see the bad in james and none of the good. james grew up, he stopped being a jerk to snape around his 6th or 7th year (but according remus he defended himself against snape because snape was still hexing him), he changed for the better. he was a good a person who did bad things. he was an asshole teenager but he was a good person and that’s the whole point of james’ character. that sometimes good people are assholes.
